Idahone Medium Ceramic Stone (Lapped/Ready)

Idahone Ceramic stones are used for sharpening knives with the Hapstone knife sharpener. The stone has an extremely high hardness rating.

The stone is ready for use. Our company has made sure that the stone is lapped (silicon carbide powder) and ready to work as soon as it arrives at your door. The stone has been carefully chamfered to a minimum.

Idahone Ceramic scarcely wears over time. Ceramic stones are available in three grits: medium, fine, and ultra-fine. Ultra-fine ceramic ¹ stones utilize top-quality 99.5% alumina and provide a super finish for the cutting edge.   

Idahone Ceramic stones should be used with one of these lubricants:

• WD-40
• Norton/Boride/Hapstone oil
• Oleic acid
• Water
